My Dad

There isn't one event that proves how good my Dad is. Theres just little things through out everyday.
My Dad always is joking around and always knows how to make me smile. My Dad is also very honest. If he is wrong he admits it and doesn't try to cover it up with a lie. My Dad shows me the strength to say forget the dumb stuff and laugh about it and move on with life. He's unique in all kinds of ways, that's what makes me a daddy's girl.

Scout & Me ?

If Scout lived in my neighborhood things would change as there isn't so much wide open space, we live along a busy road so of course there's travelers from everywhere coming through. If Scout lived around me i'd most likely be her friend. I was an adventurous child. I would not be Jem and Dill's friends trey don't seem as independent as I was. They also seemed like bullies. they seem as if the kids who if you don't want to play how I want to play it then you're not gonna play. We would prob have plenty of adventures and crazy happenings.

Pay Attention. Be Astonished. Tell About It.

I find it astonishing how much you can learn if you just shut up and listen. It's amazing how different you can look at just one person but just watching how the react to things, the way they talk, their ideas, just them in general. You realize a whole new person. If you do this to many different people you realize a whole new world. Little details can mean the world, but they mean nothing if you don't notice them. And you wont notice them unless you try to. you have to WANT to notice them.

Pay Attention. Be Astonished. Tell About It.

Dressing Up

My new constitutional Amendment is at lest once a week or once every other week you need to dress up. I believe that when we dress up that we feel more confidant. When we are confidant we do better. If you are confidant you'll feel better too. Sometimes people get away with wearing sweat pants all the time they feel like crap and the things they do turn out as crap too. So I believe dressing up will also create more happiness.

What Do You Wish You Could Believe In Again?

Something I wish I could believe in again is not wearing make-up. Everyday I wake up and sometimes even before I go eat I make sure I put on make-up and look nice. Now of course I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to  look nice but sometimes I feel like I couldn't go a day to school or out in public wearing make-up. I remember in middle school I never wore make-up more than one day of eyeliner at the maximum a week. Now everyday even when I look like crap and wear sweat pants I still have the need to put on make-up. It's a terrible habit I wish I never got started in. Make-up should be used for special occasions not a day to the grocery store or to school to sit in a desk and listen to a teacher talk. They don't care if I look bad.
So I wish again I could believe in not wearing make-up.

Appearance over You

Being big on the outside doesn't always mean you are a big confidant person. That big starter on the basketball team is just as nervous as the small person to start that game. They may be 6'2" and taller than everyone on the floor but he's still nervous. Just because your small also doesn't mean you cant stand up for yourself and be "strong". Not muscles but thinking strong. Some of the smartest people in the world are short, or "small" in appearance. Sometimes your physical appearance is related to your personality though. Sometimes that "small" girl is very quiet and kept to her self, but that "big" guy is loud and friends with everyone. But not always because some "big" guys are quiet and kept to themselves too. If my appearance was related to my personality. I would change a lot. Because some days I'm open with everyone and loud and outgoing, but sometimes I don't want to talk to any one I just want to be left alone. To many I look small because of my size but I have a big heart and an open mind.

Are you a Saver or a Spender?

I am a saver. I believe something can be worth waiting for. I like to save up my money for something better rather than spending my money right away. I also know what is worth buying and what isn't.
In the article we read, I agree with what they say. I believe that if you can discipline yourself that you will succeed in life. you have to have control over yourself before your going to get any where.
My opinion in my generation is things are getting easier and easier for us. With tons of technology we don't have to remember to do anything, our phone can do that for us. We can easily cheat on test any more, with our phones. 95% of the time our teachers have us type our work. We are going to get out on our own and not know what to do with out our parents helping us through everything. I feel some of us just need to be more independent because the future depends on us and we cant rely off one another in the future we have to stand up for ourselves. http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2011/10/30/the-new-science-behind-your-spending-addiction.print.html
